Greece is the 3rd most popular tourist destination amongst British holiday makers.  In 2007, 17.5 million tourists visited Greece (2.6 million tourists were British) this figure is increasing year on year and set to reach 20 million by 2010.  Being only 3.5 hours flight time from the UK, Greece is sure to remain a popular choice now long haul destinations are becoming more and more expensive to access.  Greece sits in the top 15 most popular tourist destinations in the world today. Area Description

Samos island is in the Eastern part of the Aegean Sea. It’s geographically located between the parallels 37.49° and 37.37° to the North and the meridians 26.33° and 27.04° to the East.
